Almost every day for the past eight years I’ve had the same thing for breakfast: over-easy eggs on peanut butter toast. A weird combo to some but it has become my standby. It packs lots of protein, fat and of course loaded up with salt and pepper it’s delicious.
A few years ago my power breakfast got a lot more powerful when I discovered Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs at our local grocery store. I switched over from simply buying the cheapest eggs on the shelf to paying a few extra dollars for the organic and local (to us) eggs. We’ve been privilege to eggs from a few of our friends that have chickens, and honestly you can taste the difference. Fresh, organic eggs are so much better not just in taste but in nutrition as well. After having “real” eggs I just couldn’t go back.
