Guest Post at For Two Fitness
Today I'm guest posting over at For Two Fitness! When I first found out I was pregnant with baby number 2, I knew I needed some pregnancy-friendly running apparel. With my first pregnancy I ran mostly in oversized t-shirts (so not flattering and kind of hot). I knew I'd be running in the summer so I began a search online for tank tops and shorts that were specifically made for pregnant women. Some of the (very limited) apparel that came up on my Google search were downright UGLY! That was, until I stumbled across the For Two Fitness website and suddenly there was a light at the end of the ugly-pregnancy-workout-apparel tunnel!
I knew immediately I NEEDED to have their "Running for Two" tank top. So I ordered it in "Caliente." It came within a few days and I was psyched when it finally arrived in the mail.
The tank is made from a super soft and breathable fabric. And the design of the tank itself is so flattering to a burgeoning belly. The ruching on the sides keeps the tank in place (no yanking or tugging) and the generous extra length means there's plenty of fabric to cover it all.
I wear my tank as often as possible (should have gotten two so I could cycle them through the wash!) and have sported them for all my pregnant races this summer except for one (it was dirty and I did't have the energy to wash it).
They don't just make running tanks either. You can get t-shirts and tanks for just about every sport and activity, and in some amazing colors! They also have bottoms designed for pregnancy too.
Not only are their products a great quality, their customer service is awesome. I've corresponded on several occasions with them regarding questions about my order before I made it and then I made a few suggestions after, and both times my emails received a prompt response.
I love my tank and so does my two-year-old daughter: she loves the "baby toes" on the belly:) The only draw back is the price, at $47.99 its a lot to spend on a top you'll only be wearing for nine months (unless you're planning on have more kiddos). Don't get me wrong, I L.O.V.E running apparel and spend more money on running gear and shoes than any other type of clothing, but I'm also a bargain hunter. I would love to have purchased two, but our budget really only allowed for one. But when you consider the other options out there (there are none) it was worth every penny!
If you're pregnant or have an active friend who is, For Two Fitness is the perfect place to find pregnancy apparel that is both flattering and practical.
