Maple Vanilla Popsicles
I'm proud to be a Stonyfield blogger and love spreading the word about how Stonyfield can fuel a healthy lifestyle. I am an ambassador, but I alway stock our fridge with Stonyfield to have on hand for snacks and healthy dessert options like these popsicles. This is not a sponsored post but does contain affiliate links.
I remember as a kid listening to my mom read aloud The Little House on the Prairie as they described scooping up platefuls of snow and drizzling them with maple syrup, the precursor to today's gas-station slushy and oh.so.much better.
It always sounded so refreshingly delicious. But then there were the warnings "DON'T EAT THE SNOW!" which I sometimes now tell my own kids. But we've been known to scoop up some fresh snow every now and then and drizzle it with a little maple syrup.
My personal preference, though is to use Stonyfield yogurt since I'm pretty clear at the sourcing of that product and often times have no idea where the the snow that comes inside the house has been.
Making these popsicles that harken back to old times is super simple and fun for the kids...even if they do end up a sticky mess: it's a happy, stick mess.

In popsicle molds (we love these popsicle molds from Tovolo ) alternate scoops of yogurt with a drizzle of maple syrup, until molds are filled. Freeze overnight.
Enjoy!
