Welcome Little Liam Marius Canney

Originally I intended this post to be "wordless," Just pictures and nothing else, but I realized I don't do "wordless" very well. And I don't really want to recap the birth story in such detail as to alienate anyone who's experience is different: hospital birth, home birth, C-section, epidural, all-natural...doesn't really matter; the entrance of new life into the world is always a miracle, regardless of how it happens. Liam has a birth story, and it's a special one because it's his.

On Friday morning I went for a short walk and wondered if today would be the day that I met the little life inside me.

Turns out it was.

Just a few hours later at 1:30pm, after a very short and intense labor, Liam Marius Canney (all 7lbs 2oz and 22 inches of him) made a hurried entrance into the world.
