For Two Fitness® Giveaway
Thanks to For Two Fitness® for sponsoring this post. All opinions expressed are my own.
And thanks to my hubby, who despite being blamed for everything, took the pictures for this post.
As of Saturday I'm officially in the third trimester and have 12 weeks to go! I'm feeling stuffed full o' baby at the moment and a lot of my favorite clothes are just not fitting around my growing belly and hips, in fact I ripped a pair of corderoys this week (in my defense they fit last week) trying to put them on. And so began a day of feeling like nothing fit or looked good, a day where I was really sick of being pregnant and more than annoyed at my husband (cause it's all his fault) even though he told me I looked "beautiful" that morning (which is really code for 'congratulations you're not wearing running clothes'). I'm telling you, pregnancy hormones and cabin fever are a dangerous combination.
Thankfully it was also the day that my For Two Fitness® long sleeve, Sweating for Two® top arrived in the mail giving me something to look forward to wearing because I know a) it's going to be comfortable and b) it's going to fit. I've had my Running for Two® tank since my pregnancy with Jack and it was a staple not just for my running and workout wardrobe during pregnancy, but I also wore it under a few of my "every day" tops to ad comfort and coverage. The same has been true of this pregnancy and I since this is my first "winter pregnancy" I was excited to add the long sleeve Sweating for Two® top to the rotation.
What I love about the For Two Fitness® tops is their fit. The ruching on the side is not only flattering but it ensures the top stays put during exercise. And the extended length of each top gives you a little extra to pull down over your growing assets. The fabric is extremely soft and moisture wicking, and comes in a variety of colors. The only thing I'd change about the long sleeve top was maybe slightly longer sleeves and thumbholes, but maybe that's because I've got unusually long "monkey arms" (seriously compare the length of the sleeves on my arms to the length of the sleeves on the models...I've got monkey arms) and a thing for thumbholes.
I like the logo tanks, tees and long sleeves because they are fun way to celebrate your pregnant body (even if you have a day where you're feeling stuffed full o' baby and nothing looks good or fits right and your pissed at your husband). They are also a cute way to make the announcement that you're expecting. I ran a 5K the day I reached the end of the first trimester. We were ready to share our news and wearing the tank as part of my "hero" costume was a great way to make the announcement.
And if you're simply looking for a great go-to top that you know will fit and flatter, For Two Fitness® Signature line without graphicsoffers the same great tops that will become an everyday staple to your pregnancy wardrobe.
