Still Waiting...
On Tuesday, both my midwife and I thought I would have this baby by the end of the week. I was having contractions and things were starting to progress, I though active labor was imminent. But on Wednesday and Thursday that "ready" feeling subsided as did the contractions and I was left feeling just plain old pregnant. Sophia and I spent Wednesday at our Mom and Tots group, Thursday running errands and painting and Friday walking the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, ME as scenic walk along cliffs overlooking the ocean. We've been distracting ourselves well. I'm a little disappointed that nothing has happened, but I really have nothing to complain about considering my due date is still a few days away (September 26th).
Today I'm planning on a morning run and then we'll head out for some apple picking with family. Can't get enough fresh-from-the-tree apples this time of year! But hopefully none of that, if this stubborn little fella decides to show up:-)
And a huge congratulations to my blogging friend Michelle from NYCRunningMama.com, who had her baby on Wednesday! A little boy! Congrats Michelle!
