Pimp My BOB

Yesterday, I went for early run: in the rain. It was the only way to try and avoid some of the unbearable humidity we've been experiencing. Thanks to my brand new BOB Weather Shield, I took Sophia with me! She stayed dry, while I enjoyed the "sort-of-cooling" (not quite, it was still pretty hot at 7:30am) mist that was falling.

The Weather Shield, along with the Console were two birthday gifts I received last month, and I have thoroughly enjoyed both of them. They make BOB even easier to love. The console is great, now I can take water, keys, a cell phone, a camera, a wallet, a toy….with me; I can stash anything (well, almost anything).

The Weather Shield in Action:

Sophia snuggly, dry and asleep.

The Console with zipper pocket and water bottle holders.

I kind of wish all these things came with the BOB considering how expensive a stroller it is, but at the same time, I really think that the BOB was worth every penny (even without the accessories). I've been so pleased with its maneuverability and the ease in which you can fold and unfold it for transport (true, my husband still needs instructions every time HE does it, but he's the one who can never find his keys when they're just under a paper in front of him:-).

The BOB is the only stroller we have, and it works just as easily running on the road as it does maneuvering through racks of clothes at Target--not to mention it glides over cobblestone and sand-dunes. If you're planning on purchasing a stroller anytime soon, save your pennies and go with the BOB.
