A Threat to the Plan: Day 2 of "The Plan"
According to my training plan Tuesday means a run of 30 to 45 minutes. Ugh. That was my first thought this morning when I remember what I was supposed to do today. I imagined the run, slogging along for a painfully-long 30 minutes. In my mind I could see the route that I might run: the hills, the turns, my arms pumping, feet plodding. I could feel the cold. Oh, I do NOT want to run today.
What poses a greater threat to following through with my plan is not my lack of motivation, but the fact that my husband Mark is at class all day today. He left before Sophie and I woke up and won't be home until after dark. So, if I do want to run I will have to wait until Mark gets home and go to the gym (the GYM!! and after that post yesterday about "Organic Training"). If I do go to the gym I can guarantee that my run will be closer to the 30-minute-end of 30-45 minutes. But even getting there will be a challenge: dinner time, bedtime, fussy-time. At least I got the Crock-Pot going for dinner, so I have that in my favor.
