SNOWSHOE RUNNING

Everything you need to know for fun in the snow.

I started snowshoe running in 2014 and quickly fell in love. The sport has transformed me into a winter-loving athlete who craves the cold.

In 2019, I finished 9th at the World Snowshoe Championships in Val Di Non, Italy and in 2020 I took the bronze at the World Snowshoe Championships in Myoko, Japan.

It’s a tough sport where success is based on “survival of the grittiest.” Sound like fun? Then let’s kick up some snow!

Have you wanted to try snowshoe running, but are not sure where to start? Join Sarah Canney, member of the 2018 USA Women's National Team and 9th place finisher at the 2019 World Snowshoe Championships, as she walks you through the basics of snowshoe running.
