Cold But Cure - Title Nine Crash Tight Review

Winter is coming. There’s been frost on the ground the past few mornings and a chill in the air that signals cooler days are coming. Which means I’m trading shorts for tights.

I am always on the hunt for the perfect pair of winter running tights, so when Title Nine offered to send me their Crash Tight I was eager to see how it stacked up against the tights I already own.

TITLE NINE CRASH TIGHT REVIEW

When it comes to winter activities whether it’s hiking or running or snowshoe running, I need a tight that keeps me warm all over. I’ve found that winter running gear is often not designed with the needs of a winter athlete in mind. They  are warm in all the wrong places. Have wind blocking where you don’t need it (like in the crotch and shins) and are generally uncomfortable.

What I look for in a winter tight:

  • Soft, thick fabric

  • Wind resistant

  • Wide waistband

  • Secure pockets

  • Easy to move in without restriction

Title Nine’s Crash Tight is their Warmest Winter Tight and I recently had they chance to test it out on a hike in the White Mountains and it passed with flying colors:

The Crash Tight is the perfect winter tight: no more cold butts, no more slipping down and yanking up, and plenty of space to stash fuel, phones and keys.

TITLE NINE CRASH TIGHT REFLECTIVE

I have a stack of winter running tights and I’m always looking for that perfect tight to slip on when the weather is cold. A tight that doesn’t need any extras, no shorts worn over the top or wool baselayer underneath. The Crash Tight is that tight. It does it all.

I can see the Crash Tight becoming a winter staple, the tights I reach for over and over again throughout the colder months.
